Privacy

This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visitbook.sergeyvoelker.com. This page is intentionally minimal: it sets no cookies, shows no advertising, and does not track you across other websites.

Who is responsible

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Sergey Völker. Full contact details are in the Impressum. For any data-protection request, use the contact address given there.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you open a page, Cloudflare automatically processes the technical data needed to deliver the site and keep it secure — including your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page, and your browser type. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor under EU-approved safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

Analytics

To understand which sections are read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-focused: it uses no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and collects only aggregated, non-identifying figures such as page views, referrers, country, and device type. No profile about you is created. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Email / launch list

This page does not currently collect email addresses. If a launch-list sign-up is added later, it will use a double opt-in (you confirm your address before anything is stored) and this notice will be updated to describe exactly what is stored and by which provider.

Fonts

All fonts are hosted directly on this site. No data is sent to Google Fonts or other third parties to display text.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. A single local setting may remember whether you paused the page's animations; it stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere. For that reason, no cookie banner is shown.

External links

This site links to external services such as Amazon, Apress, and LinkedIn. When you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that provider applies; we have no influence over how they process your data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the site evolves. The version published here always applies.
